The Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences (FAMS)’ is a four-disciplinary “Medical Laboratory Technology, Clinical Nutrition, Physical Therapy and Diagnostic Radiology” has the same vision as KAU’s vision in providing a World Class Education Programs that lead to professions comparable with other national, regional and international qualifications with sustainability and community engagement.
As a faculty in multi-disciplinary education and student-centered learning, FAMS is dedicated to enhance the quality of learning and teaching to further expand student learning experiences and student outcomes in taking responsibilities to serve the community through knowledge development, excellent research, innovation and entrepreneurship.
FAMS seeks to promote the concept of the educational process on the academic and professional levels through attention to faculty members and work to develop their capabilities in scientific and practical research and education through providing the needs of students and the methods they interact and benefit from the educational programs they receive.
FAMS’ targets forming a generation of graduates scientifically and practically qualified to carry the banner of serving all parts of society from medical aspects to contribute to the general renaissance of the nation in the application of the concept of a healthy nation.
All FAMS employees, administrators and students are working together to support its outcomes.
I ask God Almighty to bless all those who contribute their good deeds to advance FAMS to make it highly competitive in education nationally, regionally and internationally.
