History

In 1424, The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, issued a royal decree to convert the Allied Medical Sciences department into The Faculty of Medical Sciences. The aim of establishing a new faculty was to meet the community’s need by graduating qualified applied medical specialists to support and sustain health services in Saudi Arabia continuously.
