Overview

Administrative Communications Unit is divided to the following:

  1. Division of Administrative Communications
  2. Archives Division
  3. Correspondents Division

 

Mission

Division of Administrative Communications:

  • Receiving internal and external incoming transactions of the faculty.
  • Registering outgoing internal and external transactions of the faculty.
  • Keeping copies of incoming and outgoing transactions.
  • Distributing updated copies of outgoing transactions to concerned parties  according to the transaction copies.

Archives Division:

  • Archiving the transactions electronically.
  • Filing the transactions in a clear method to make them easily  accessible.
  • Retrieving transactions in case they are requested by faculty members.
  • Monitoring retrieved transactions to ensure correct recording and maintenance.

 

Correspondents Division:

  • The internal correspondent delivers incoming and outgoing correspondence. Incoming correspondence comes from outside the faculty e.g. from  science departments, employees and faculty affiliates.  Outgoing correspondence is  from the department to recipients within the department..
  • The external correspondent delivers correspondence to other university bodies or delivers correspondence to the university post if the intended recipients are not part of the university.
